According to the article, the 2000 cases of snack cakes from the accident were taken to a landfill.
Instead of destroying the delicious deserts, I wish they would have put them to good use. Just imagine a track and field event featuring a long jump pit filled with the soft, squishy snack cakes instead of sand. That would be a Lard Butt long jumper's dream come true!
