LardButt.com Basketball Team Wins Another League Title
Continuing a rich tradition of upsetting teams which take themselves waaaaay too seriously, the Lardbutt.com basketball team ironically won another Sound Mind & Body (thus the irony) Basketball League! Combining the deadly long-range shooting of Ohio Univerisity's Steve King, the power game of former Boise State Standout Matt Nelson, the deft ball handling and defense of guards Marcus Clift (Montana State), Gemayal McBride (Occidental) and Andrew McCaffrey (Franklin & Marshall), LardButt.com also benefitted from the contributions of Big Men Brian Platt and Matt Betz. Geriatric too-long-timers Trevor Caldwell and Lardbutt.com co-founder Mark Peterson ROUNDED out the championship lineup.
As is customary, the squad marked its title with a long celebratory post-game dinner consisting of beers.
