Lard Butt Brings Beer and Donuts to Marathon
In the wee hours of Sunday morning, July 12, a hearty crew of Lard Butts set up a unique aid station for runners of the Missoula, MT Marathon: Between 6:00 and 8:00 a.m., the Lard Butts distributed countless cups of cold water and encouragement to the 2,000 marathon runners who passed by the Lard Butt station, set up at Mile 6 of the 26.2 mile course. The Lard Butts also offered beers and donuts to the runners!
According to the Lard Butts themselves and many witnesses who were on-hand, several runners took the donuts, but they left all the Sunday morning beer offerings to the....Lard Butts.
